Description:

Evidence-based diagnosis is pertinent for optimal healthcare which is why physicians use test results to determine a patient’s state of health. This course introduces participants to the concept of human biological testing with a focus on non-routine tests. Non-routine tests may be requested by the physician where there is a cause to suspect the presence of a condition in a patient probably due to family history or lifestyle. These tests may also be conducted on specific population groups to identify those at risk of a given condition. Participants will learn about patient preparation, sample collection, sample transport, sample processing, and data management in non-routine testing.

In this course, we provide a synthesis of the topic through an interactive online experience. This material was built by a team of Regulatory Affairs Experts with a Qualification from Northeastern University, Boston, piloted by a Senior Member able to articulate theory with practice.
